This is another painting I did based on the book ‘The Hobbit’ by J.R.R.Tolkien. I have always loved Dragons and the greatest of them all is surely Smaug, not only for his imposing physical attributes but for his boastful and devious personality. Much as I loved creating this piece, drawing and painting Smaug’s excessive treasure took me an age!
