The writings of H.P.Lovecraft have always fascinated me. Lovecraft’s works are full of mystery, madness and cosmic horror, something quite unique for a writer working in the 1920’s and 30’s. For this piece I tried to capture the look of an ancient depiction of Cthulhu whether it be from an ancient parchment on a fresco painted deep within a crumbling forgotten temple.
