Probably the most famous of H.P. Lovecraft’s short stories is ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ in which the sunken city of R’lyeh rises from the ocean depths and sailors come face-to-face with this gigantic cosmic being! I really wanted to create a 1930’s movie poster style look to this to fit when the story was written.
